BBC Wales Tribute To Mountjoy

BBC Wales will be airing a new series of Legends of Welsh Sport from Wednesday 15 February at 8pm, looking back on some of the greatest and most inspiring sportsmen and women Wales has ever produced.

The first episode in the new series features snooker legend Doug Mountjoy, and reflects on his life and career, along with testimonies from other snooker stars including Ray Reardon, Mark Williams, Stephen Hendry and Steve Davis.

This programme tells the inspirational story of Mountjoy, whose talent and passion for snooker would take him from the world of the valley’s sports and social clubs to one of the sport’s biggest stars in the ‘70s and ‘80s.
