Ronnie O’Sullivan will face Thailand’s Boonyarit Keattikun in the first round of snooker’s Betway UK Championship at the York Barbican.
The draw has been released for the tournament which runs from November 22 to December 4. It’s the sport’s first Triple Crown event of the season, with 128 players chasing the famous trophy and a top prize of £170,000.
Five-time UK Champion O’Sullivan will take on last year’s world under-21 champion Keattikun in the opening round at 7.30pm on Wednesday November 23.
Defending champion Neil Robertson will be up against Peter Lines at 7.30pm on Thursday November 24. Judd Trump will take on Thai veteran James Wattana at 7.30pm on Tuesday November 22, while World Champion Mark Selby will meet Andy Hicks at 2.30pm on Thursday November 24.
The entire first round will take place over the first three days, with the 64 winners going through to the BBC-televised stages, which start on Saturday November 26.
With eight tables in the arena in the early stages, supporters can watch several matches for the price of a single ticket. All-day tickets start at just £11, incredible value to see live sport at the highest level.
