RYAN DAY 147! | Sensational Maximum Break vs Mark Selby [QF] | 2023 Duelbits Tour Championship

Bingham Negotiates The Thunder

Stuart Bingham edged past Neil Robertson 4-3 to progress to the quarter-finals of the Romanian Snooker Masters.

Bingham compiled the more significant breaks in a closely fought clash. The 2015 World Champion had trailed 3-2, but a top score of 137 in the sixth frame forced a decider. He took it on the colours to progress.

Liang Wenbo will face Bingham in the last eight after defeating World Champion Mark Selby 4-2.

It’s the Firecracker’s second consecutive win over the world number one, after beating Selby 4-3 in their previous meeting at the Welsh Open.

The clash was bereft of big breaks, but it was the 2016 English Open champion who dealt the decisive blow. After trailing 42-31 in the sixth frame, Liang strung together a run of 41 to push himself over the line.

The invitational event continues on Thursday with the remaining first round clashes, followed by the quarter-finals on Friday, semis on Saturday and the final on Sunday. The winner will take home the top prize of 50,000 Euros.
