Brandon Parker

World Snooker director Brandon Parker has been diagnosed with kidney cancer and will be taking a break from the sport in order to receive treatment.

Brandon has been a director since 2010 and in recent years has played a key role in the development of snooker in continental Europe through events such as the German Masters.

His treatment will include surgery followed by several months of recuperation.

All of his fellow directors and staff at World Snooker would like to wish Brandon the very best for his recovery and we look forward to seeing him back on the circuit later this year.
