Burnley Clubs Raise Funds For PHF

Dennis Taylor receives a cheque on behalf of the Paul Hunter Foundation
Over £1000 has been raised for the Paul Hunter Foundation in memory of Burnley youngster and promising snooker player Jordan Ullah, who died suddenly in 2009.
The money was raised by Jordan’s close friend Josh Stevenson, together with fellow players from the Burnley and Pendle Snooker Clubs. Fundraising activities were staged during the presentation night. Steven Ashworth donated his prize money and Adrian Harris, a league sponsor, donated a generous amount.
NLTG’s Russell Large, together with the 1985 World Champion Dennis Taylor, accepted an initial £1000 on behalf of the Foundation during the presentation night.

Dennis Taylor said: “This is a tremendous effort led by Josh and all players in the league, together with Pendle Kitchens. Well done to all”.
