How do I become a professional player?
Q School runs each year and gives all-comers the chance to qualify for the professional tour. There are usually 12 places on the main tour available, with the four semi-finalists in each of three events given a place. Keep an eye on this page for details of how to enter. In 2022, Thailand staged an Asia-Oceania Q School event for the first time. There are also places on the tour made available to national international associations, who run their own events. Get in touch with your national governing body to find out more.
How do I become a referee?
Get in touch with your NGB and ask how to obtain your referee’s certificate, and see if they can help you gain experience. We often use the best amateur referees in our smaller events such as Q School. There they can gain invaluable experience and the best ones may graduate to referee on the professional tour.
I have a question about the rules.
