Hull has a fantastic collection of art galleries, including the Ferens Art Gallery which is home to works by artists such as Frans Hals and David Hockney and hosted the Turner Prize in 2017, as well as the Humber Street Gallery, a contemporary art space located at the heart of the Fruit Market, originally opened during Hull’s year as UK City of Culture in 2017.

The Deep is an award-winning aquarium, ideal for families, where you can see sharks, stingrays, sea turtles, penguins and much more during a journey through prehistoric seas, into the vast open oceans and down to the darkest depths.

At Hotham’s Gin School & Distillery, you can learn all about the history of gin, drink the odd G&T and walk away with your own unique bottle of the stuff.
