A limited number of extra tickets for the 2018 Betfred World Championship will be released this Friday (January 26) at 10am.
The tournament at the Crucible Theatre in Sheffield runs from April 21 to May 7. It is one of the biggest sporting events of the year with 32 players contesting snooker’s ultimate prize.
Tickets went on sale last May and sold out within 48 hours. But World Snooker is now set to release on general sale a small number of tickets previously held by one of our partners.
Fans hoping to secure tickets should call the box office from 10am on Friday on 0844 65 65 147 or CLICK HERE
World Snooker Chairman Barry Hearn said: “Tickets for this event are like gold dust so this is a rare opportunity for fans book seats.
“Demand is so high that we have decided for the 2019 World Championship to reduce the maximum number of tickets each person can book to four, allowing more fans the chance to come to the Crucible and experience this unique event. Tickets will be on sale from May 7th, the day that this year’s tournament finishes.”
