Highfields School is one of 12 schools taking part in the nationwide programme to increase participation in snooker through schools, using Functional Snooker, the fun ways to learn English and Maths.

Six time World Snooker Champion Steve Davis was at Highfields, with Andrew Highfield, a former pupil at the school, as well as Chris Lovell and Neil Ormerod.

Steve said: “As part of our initiative it’s great for Andrew to come back to his old school. Highfields have whole-heartedly taken to delivering snooker as part of the normal day-to-day school curriculum..what more could we have hoped for?”

Cue Zone Into Schools moves on to the London area next with road shows at Passmores Academy on the 17th March 2014 and Moulshaw High School on the 18th March 2014.
