Griffiths To Focus On Home Coaching

Former World Champion Terry Griffiths has decided to do all of his coaching at his home club from next season.

Griffiths is recognised as one of snooker’s leading coaches and currently works with players including Mark Allen, Stuart Bingham, Ding Junhui, Zhou Yuelong and Zhao Xintong.

Going forward he intends to do all of his coaching at the Terry Griffiths Matchroom in Llanelli.

“I have been travelling on motorways for 40 years, playing and coaching at venues,” said 1979 Crucible king Griffiths. “I am now 71 years of age and I feel the time is right to stop travelling and do all of my coaching in Llanelli.

“I am pleased to still have the opportunity to coach both professional and amateur players in my own environment. I will not have long-standing agreements any more, but players can visit me for lessons on an hourly basis.”
