Heidsieck Monopole Bring Sparkling Success To Snooker
World Snooker is delighted to announce Heidsieck Monopole as the new official Champagne of the Betfred World Championship.
The Historic French Grande Marque Champagne House, owned by Vranken-Pommery Monopole, has joined forces with World Snooker for the first time at the sport’s biggest event.
During the 17 day tournament at the Crucible Theatre in Sheffield, the winner of every match will receive a bottle of Heidsieck Monopole Blue Top Champagne.
And when the champion is crowned on May 6th, he will receive a magnum of Heidsieck Monopole Blue Top during the award ceremony.
World Snooker Chairman Barry Hearn said: “The World Championship is snooker’s Champagne event so it is fitting that we have one of the world’s finest brands of Champagne as our new official partner. For every player winning a match, a bottle of Heidsieck Monopole will be a fantastic way to celebrate!”
Vranken-Pommery Monopole UK CEO Julien Lonneux said: “We are delighted to be partnering with such an iconic and prestigious sporting event, one which has such diverse and far reaching appeal. It is with great pleasure we are able to play a part in helping to celebrate the achievements we will witness across the 17 days.”
