Ladbrokes Donate £2,500 To Jessie May

Day ArticleWorld Grand Prix title sponsor Ladbrokes will make a tremendous donation of £2,500 to Jessie May Children’s Hospice At Home thanks to the century breaks made during last week’s tournament.

Ladbrokes pledged to donate £100 for every ton made during the seven days at the Guild Hall in Preston, and there were 25 made. Champion Barry Hawkins, who beat Ryan Day 10-7 in the final, made seven centuries including five in the final.

Adrian Osman from the Ladbrokes Coral Group said: “It was another fantastic tournament and The Hawk certainly played his part in the final to add to those century breaks, on behalf of the Ladbrokes Coral Group we are delighted to be adding £2,500 to a very worthwhile charity.”
