Leeds cueman Lines, who is one of snooker’s most promising up and coming players, beat Josh Boileau 6-1 in the final in Bucharest, with a top break of 101.
The 18 year-old said: “It didn’t sink in for a while but a few days later I just realised how great it was to have won the title. I played really well to win it. Next season I just want to qualify for events and win as many games as possible.”
Oliver’s dad Peter has been a professional since 1991 and they could be on the tour together next season.
“That’s the main thing I’m looking forward to, I have been to see my father at every venue, so it will be great to go with him to the events and play,” said the teenager. “But I would prefer not to draw him in a tournament.”
