Lloyd And Benzey Receive English Open Wild Cards

Mark Lloyd and Connor Benzey have been handed places in next month’s English Open world ranking event, having been nominated by by the English Partnership for Snooker and Billiards.

Lloyd, age 20 from Portsmouth, was nominated for winning the Under-21 Premier Development Tour. Benzey, age 18 from Southampton, was nominated for coming second on the same tour, as well as making the knockout rounds of the WSF Junior Open (last 32) and WSF Open (last 16).

The English Open will run from October 12 to 18 in Milton Keynes. The draw and format will be announced in due course.
