McLeod Seals Tour Return

Rory McLeod secured a two-year card for the World Snooker Tour at Q School Event Three in Sheffield.

Former Ruhr Open champion McLeod missed out on a professional return at the recent Challenge Tour Playoff, but a 4-2 win over experienced campaigner Paul Davison in the final Q School round has now booked him a place on the circuit.

Steven Hallworth, a Shoot Out quarter-finalist in 2017, earned professional status by coming from 2-0 down to beat Alfie Burden 4-2 in the final round. The 24-year-old beat Belgian teenager Ben Mertens, Sydney Wilson and Daniel Womersley on his way to the last round.

Teenager Jamie Wilson became this year’s youngest Q School graduate, at just 16 years of age. The Portsmouth cueman defeated fellow youngster Hayden Pinhey 4-2 to gain professional status.

Farakh Ajaib earned a place on the circuit for the first time, he defeated Frenchman Brian Ochoiski 4-2 in the final round. Ochoiski was aiming to become the first ever French professional.
