Last week’s Victorian Plumbing UK Championship, won by Judd Trump, was enjoyed by fans across digital platforms, with significant growth compared to last year.

The first Triple Crown event of the 2024/25 snooker season produced a string of exciting matches in York, culminating in Trump’s 10-8 victory over Barry Hawkins in the final.

On WST’s social media platforms there were huge increases compared to 2023. Instagram reach jumped by 227%, while views were up +114% YouTube Shorts and 145% for TikTok.
 
This year's tournament also saw multi-territory year-on-year increases in average minutes consumed by viewers across Warner Bros. Discovery's streaming platforms. Pan-European audiences saw +40% growth (MAX and discovery+) with UK and Ireland viewers rising +22% vs 2023 on discovery+  

On BBC iPlayer there were 5.2 million viewing requests.
