Paul Hunter Foundation Golf Day

The Paul Hunter Golf Day will return to the superb Hallamshire Golf Club, home to British Masters Champion Matthew Fitzpatrick, on Thursday 14th April 2016.

The golf day will commence immediately after the draw for the final stages of the Betfred World Snooker Championship is made at The Crucible Theatre in Sheffield.

Snooker stars who will be enjoying the Hallamshire fairways include Steve Davis, John Parrott, Barry Hearn, current World Champion Stuart Bingham, Shaun Murphy, and many more.

The Golf Day aims to raise funds to help the Foundation give disadvantaged, able bodied and disabled youngsters an opportunity to play snooker. Locally qualified coaches and clubs apply for financial grants to the Foundation, and in turn they would provide coaching sessions within their own communities at existing facilities such as snooker or social clubs.

Golfing teams of three will be paired with a snooker stars for the 18 holes AM format, followed by a celebrity evening and fund raising. Over half of the allocated 20 teams are already registered;
