Bio

Ursenbacher had only recently turned 17 when he joined the tour in 2013, and although his two-year card ended in relegation he returned by winning the 2017 European Under-21 Championship in Cyprus. Later that year he was an English Open semi-finalist, which remains his best ranking performance, and in 2020 he became Switzerland’s first ever Crucible competitor. Ursenbacher, who has the remarkable record of winning all three ranking event meetings with Ronnie O’Sullivan, extended his current run on tour by coming through Q School for a second time in 2023.
