Bio
Dorgham’s triumph at the 2023 African Championship in Casablanca launched his professional career, and in the early weeks of his first season he came close to qualifying for the Northern Ireland Open, only missing out to Alfie Burden in the last frame. The Egyptian’s first win came at the Shoot Out in December 2023. At the end of his first season he had the honour of becoming Fergal O'Brien's last ever opponent before retirement, as Dorgham beat the Irishman 10-8 in World Championship qualifying.
