Bio
Continuing the Edinburgh snooker heritage which includes seven time World Champion Stephen Hendry, as a teenager Young was the only player to successfully negotiate the 2021 Q School who had not been on the tour before. A run to the last 16 of the Shoot Out was the stand-out moment of his rookie campaign, and he got to the last 64 of three ranking tournaments in his second season before returning to Q School at the end of it and clinching another card.
