Bio
Following in the strong Merseyside snooker tradition led by former World Champion John Parrott, a run to within one frame of the British Open final in 2022 is the stand out moment of Williams’ career so far. Winning a match at the Crucible remains a key ambition for him, and he has played at the Theatre of Dreams on four occasions, coming closest to the last 16 in 2016 when he was two frames away from defeating Ricky Walden.
