Bio
Winner of the 2013 World Amateur Championship at the age of 15, Zhou created a sensation two years later when he was part of the all-teenage China B team which won the World Cup. Regarded as one of the best players still waiting for a ranking title, he led Mark Allen 4-1 in the 2022 Northern Ireland Open final but eventually went down 9-4. Zhou recorded his first win at the Crucible when he beat Allen in the first round in 2018, although he was knocked out by Ali Carter in his next match and has yet to qualify again.
