Bio
A six-month stint training at Beijing’s CBSA World Snooker Academy when he was 13, set Ma up for an excellent amateur career which culminated in winning the WSF Championship in Australia in early 2023 while still a teenager, earning promotion to the professional ranks. In only his third event on the tour, Ma reached the last 16 of the British Open before going out to former ranking event winner Fan Zhengyi.
