Bio

Jones made headlines at the age of 14 as one of the youngest players ever to compile a 147 in a recognised tournament, and started his professional career while still in his teens. He was relegated twice, but in the second season of his third spell contributed to the storied history of Welsh players making outstanding Crucible debuts, knocking out former champion Shaun Murphy and falling just two frames short of a place in the last four. Armed with a fluent, energetic style around the table, Jones has been to three ranking semi-finals, and still awaits his first final.
