2017: Turns pro for the first time after coming through Q School, beating William Lemons 4-2 in the final round. Reaches the last 16 of the Scottish Open, knocking out Ali Carter before his run is ended by John Higgins.
2020: Regains his tour card by winning the WSF Open, the most prestigious event in amateur snooker, beating Iulian Boiko 5-3 in the final in Malta. Reaches the last 16 of the Gibraltar Open. Tops the Challenge Tour rankings, having won two events and made a 147 in another.
2022: Reaches the last 16 of the European Masters. Reaches the final stages of the World Championship for the first time, winning three qualifying matches before losing 10-5 to Neil Robertson. Makes the quarter-finals of a ranking event for the first time at the English Open, before losing to Mark Allen.
