Bio
Renowned for exceptional determination and an outstanding all-round game, Selby went on an unexpected run to the 2007 World Championship final, then confirmed his arrival in the big time by winning the first of his three Masters titles on his debut appearance the next season. He returned to the world final in 2014 where an inspired come-back against Ronnie O’Sullivan started a run of three titles in four years. Selby triumphed at the Crucible for a fourth time in 2021, and two years later became the first player ever to make a 147 in the world final.
