2013: Qualifies for the final stages of the World Championship for the first time, beating Ryan Day 10-9 to make it to the Crucible. Loses to Ali Carter in the last 32. Reaches the semi-finals of the Antwerp Open.
2014: Climbs into the world’s top 32.
2015: Reaches the final of a ranking event for the first time at the Welsh Open in Cardiff, beating the likes of Mark Davis, Mark Allen, Ali Carter and home favourite Mark Williams. However, the final proves to be a one sided affair as he loses 9-3 to John Higgins. Makes the first 147 break of his career at the 2015 Lisbon Open. Semi-finalist at the Riga Open.
2019: Quarter-finalist at the China Open.
2020: Runner-up to Luca Brecel at the Matchroom.Live Championship League.
