Chang Bingyu played his debut season on the pro tour in 2019-20. He was one of two players to qualify via the CBSA China Tour, alongside Bai Langning.
Recognised as one of China’s most promising teenage talents, Chang played as a wild card at the 2018 China Championship in Guangzhou. He reached the last 32, beating Jimmy Robertson and Robert Milkins before losing to Mark Selby. Chang also knocked Mark Davis out of the China Open.
