Bio
World Under-21 champion aged just 14 in 2018, Wu turned professional three years later and got to the last 32 of three ranking events on the way to being named Rookie of the Year. The following season he made his first quarter-final, and was one of four Chinese players to simultaneously qualify for their Crucible debuts. Wu reached the last four of a ranking tournament for the first time at the 2023 Wuhan Open, then reached the final of both the English Open and Scottish Open in 2024, but is still waiting for his first ranking title.
