2008: Awarded the Paul Hunter Scholarship, giving him free training for a year at the World Snooker Academy.
2009: Comes within a frame of making it to the Crucible, losing 10-9 in the final qualifying round against Barry Hawkins.
2011: Wins the European Amateur Championship.
2017: Climbs into the world’s top 64.
2018: Reaches the semi-finals of a ranking event for the first time at the Scottish Open. Beats the likes of David Gilbert, Matthew Stevens and Ryan Day before just falling short 6-5 in a final frame decider with Mark Allen. Quarter-finalist at the Paul Hunter Classic.
2023: Competing as an amateur, reaches the semi-finals of a ranking event for the second time at the Shoot Out before losing to Chris Wakelin. Also makes the last 16 of the Welsh Open, notably beating Judd Trump 4-2. His performances across the season get him high enough on the one-year ranking list to regain a World Snooker Tour card.
