2015: Reaches his first ranking event final at the China Open in Beijing. Beats the likes of of Barry Hawkins and Ding Junhui before losing 10-2 to Mark Selby.
2017: Makes his second official 147 during World Championship qualifying. Makes his Crucible debut, losing to Ronnie O’Sullivan.
2018: Reaches the semi-finals of the Welsh Open.
2019: Enjoys a brilliant run to the semi-finals of the World Championship, winning three qualifying matches then beating Luca Brecel, Mark Selby and Ali Carter at the Crucible. Loses 17-11 to Judd Trump. That run earns him £100,000 and moves him to 20th in the world.
2020: Makes the semi-finals of the European Masters in Austria.
