Career highlights:

1997: Quarter-finalist at the UK Championship.
1999: Qualifies for the final stages of the World Championship for the first time, losing to John Higgins on his Crucible debut.
2004: Climbs to number 26 in the world.
2007: Reaches the semi-finals of a ranking event for the first time at the Grand  Prix in Aberdeen, beating the likes of Mark Allen and Marco Fu before losing to Barry Hawkins.
