Career highlights

2011: Makes his first ranking event quarter-final at the Australian Open, knocking out John Higgins and Stephen Hendry.
2013: Beats Ken Doherty in the final qualifying round of the World Championship to earn a Crucible debut, which he loses against Mark Selby.
2014: Reaches the final of the Lisbon Open. Beats the likes of Judd Trump and Barry Hawkins before losing to Stephen Maguire.
2015: Quarter-finalist at the UK Championship. Climbs in to the world’s top 32 for the first time.
2019:  After 13 seasons as a professional, wins his first ranking title at the Indian Open. Beats John Higgins in the semis before a 5-3 win over China’s Lyu Haotian in the final.
2021: Reaches the semi-finals of the Gibraltar Open, notably knocking out Stephen Hendry who was playing his first pro match in nine years. Selt’s run was ended by Judd Trump.
2022: Makes the second ranking final of his career at the Nirvana Turkish Masters, losing out to Judd Trump 10-4 in the title match.
