2001: Age just nine, makes a century in a competitive league match, earns a spot in the Guinness Book of Records.
2006: Wins the world amateur title at the age of just 14.
2013: Reaches the quarter-finals of the World Championship, beats boyhood idol Mark Williams on his Crucible debut then sees off Dechawat Poomjaeng before his run is ended by Ricky Walden.
2015: Wins his maiden ranking title at the Indian Open, knocking out Mark Williams in the semi-finals before thrashing Ricky Walden 5-0. Wins the one-frame Shoot Out, potting four balls in the last 30 seconds of the final to edge out Xiao Guodong. Reaches the final of the Gibraltar Open before losing to Marco Fu. Has a brief spell among the world’s top 16.
2017: Wins his second ranking title at the Paul Hunter Classic in Furth, beats Mark Selby on his way to the final, where he overcomes Shaun Murphy 4-2.
2019: Reaches the semi-finals of the Shoot Out.
2022: Reaches the final stages of the World Championship by winning four qualifying matches, and becomes only the second amateur to compete at at the Crucible. Loses 10-3 to Mark Williams but White’s run is enough to confirm his return to the pro tour after a two-year absence.
