2022: Reaches the last 16 of the World Championship, beating Luca Brecel 10-5 at the Crucible before losing 13-7 to John Higgins. Reaches the semi-finals of a ranking event for the third time at the British Open, before losing to Mark Allen.
2023: Makes his fourth ranking event semi-final at the World Grand Prix, knocking out Mark Selby, Ronnie O’Sullivan and Mark Williams before losing to Mark Allen.
