Rankings Update: Lisowski Leaps

Jack Lisowski has climbed from 18th to sixth on the one-year ranking list following his run to the final of the matchroom World Grand Prix.

Lisowski lost 10-7 to Judd Trump in the final on Sunday night, but still banked £40,000 which moves him 12 places up the list.

That leaves him on course to qualify for the Players Championship in February, with only the top 16 to earn a place in the draw. There are just three counting events to go in that race: the BetVictor German Masters, BetVictor Shoot Out and BetVictor Welsh Open.

Trump earned £100,000 to bring his total on the one-year list to £370,500, a lead of £123,500 over second-placed Neil Robertson. Ronnie O’Sullivan reached the semi-finals last week and he remains in fifth place, while Mark Selby was the other losing semi-finalist and he stays third, with Kyren Wilson fourth.

Zhao Xintong enjoyed a fine run to the quarter-finals and he jumps into the top 16, leaping nine places to 14th. Hossein Vafaei also made the quarters and he flies up from 27th to 19th.

As it stands, there are seven players inside the top 16 of the one-year list who are outside the top 16 of the official two-year list.

On the two-year list, Trump extends his immense lead at the top to £814,000, with Robertson second. Lisowski is up one spot to 14th.

The two-year list will now be used determined the seedings for the BetVictor Gibraltar Open and BetVictor Shoot Out.
