Record Ticket Sales In Belfast
This year’s 19.com Northern Ireland Open has seen a record number of people flock to the Waterfront Hall Belfast, with more tickets sold than ever before.
In particular, Sunday’s final is selling especially fast. The showpiece clash will take place over two sessions at 1pm and 7pm in a best of 17 match. Tickets still remain, but fans are urged to act quickly if they want to be there, with sales already topping last year’s final.
World Snooker Event Director Katie Oldfield said: “We have been thrilled to see the people of Belfast turn out in unprecedented numbers to support this fantastic tournament. The Waterfront Hall has become synonymous with this event and it produces a truly unique atmosphere.
“With so many big names in the quarter-final lineup like Ronnie O’Sullivan, Judd Trump, John Higgins, Mark Selby and Shaun Murphy we anticipate that there is every chance Sunday’s final could sell out. I would advise fans to make sure they book quickly to avoid disappointment.”
Tickets for today’s quarter-finals and the action over the weekend are available for as little as £20. Call 028 90334400 or click here for more details.
