Thailand’s Thepchaiya Un-Nooh and Noppon Saengkham will meet in the semi-finals of the SangSom Six Red World Championship in Bangkok on Friday.

England’s Matthew Selt will take on China’s Liang Wenbo in the other semi, with the final to follow on Saturday when a top prize of 2.5 million Baht will be up for grabs.

Saengkham beat Joe Perry 7-5 in the quarter-finals. From 3-3 he pulled away to lead 6-3, and although Perry clawed two frames back, Saengkham secured victory in the next. Un-Nooh won a Thai derby against Boonyarit Keattikul 7-1.

Liang came from 3-2 down to beat world number one Mark Selby 7-4, while Selt saw off Marco Fu 7-3.
