Vacancy: Digital Media Officer

Do you have the talent and ambition to join the digital team at one of the world’s fastest growing sports, with the chance to travel around the UK, Europe and Asia?

World Snooker Tour, which runs the sport’s global professional circuit, has a vacancy for a digital media officer.

The role is based in either our offices in Clifton, Bristol or Brentwood, Essex. It will also include working at snooker’s biggest tournaments including the World Championship, the Masters and potentially events in China and other locations worldwide.

Creativity, dedication and enthusiasm are crucial to this role, which would suit a graduate with exceptional digital skills.

Salary: £25,000 & benefits

Key responsibilities and required skills will include:

Creating and editing high quality video content for use on WST’s digital platforms.

Managing official social media accounts and creating high quality content including graphics.

Specific responsibility for content on TikTok and LinkedIn

Presenting video content on camera.

In-depth knowledge of video editing software, digital equipment and use of Photoshop is essential.

Writing content for WST’s official website and app, such as match reports and features.

Attending tournaments and working with the team on all aspects of snooker’s media operation.

Collating and reporting top-line data from media platforms, for use by the wider business.

A passion for sport. Knowledge of snooker preferred.

Strong communication skills

Willingness to work long hours and weekends while working on site at tournaments.

Ability to work within a team, often to tight deadlines, and co-operate with colleagues and stakeholders.
