West Are Best In Scotland Again

Hat-trick heroes: West of Scotland have won the title three years in a row.

West of Scotland won the Aramith and Strachan Scottish County Championship for the third consecutive year  at the Q Club in Glasgow last weekend.

The event draws together teams from across Scotland to compete for the title, and West of Scotland added to the crowns they won in 2015 and 2016.

For the first time, the event was supported by Strachan Cloth and Aramith Balls.

Event organiser Thomas Moran said: “It was a brilliant day and the best championship we have had yet. There were more leagues and more players involved than ever before, with over 300 frames of snooker played on the day.

“Our sincere thanks go to Stuart Gardiner, UK and Ireland Sales Manager for Aramith Balls, Simonis Cloth and Strachan Cloth, for their fantastic support.”
