West Of Scotland Win County Championship

The West of Scotland League came out on top when the Scottish County Championship took place in Glasgow last weekend.

The tournament at the Q Club attracted six teams from around the country, and it was West of Scotland, captained by Billy Henderson, who won four of their five games to take the trophy.

Leading referee Leo Scullion was in attendance to hand out the trophy and medals.

Organiser Tom Moran said: “The event continues to be a great success and hopefully it will raise awareness about snooker among young people in Scotland. Thanks to Roy Bartch and the Scottish contingent of referees, who did a fantastic job in officiating, and to Lake Sharma of the Q Club.”
