Wilson And Jones Become Jessie May Ambassadors

WST’s official charity partner Jessie May Children’s Hospice at Home has announced Kyren Wilson and Jamie Jones as their new ambassadors.

Jessie May, our charity partner since 2016, supports families who have a child with a life-limiting illness. A team of dedicated nurses provides palliative care throughout a child’s life, extending their support to provide bereavement care for families following the death of a child.

Five-time ranking event winner Wilson said: “I’m absolutely honoured to be asked to be an ambassador for Jessie May. It’s a charity that I have followed closely as they have worked with WST for many years, and, being a dad myself, I can’t imagine what these strong families have to go through, and I will do my best to help.”

Welshman Jones said: “I feel very honoured to be asked to be an ambassador for such an amazing charity. I’ve known about Jessie May for a few years but since running the London Marathon in aid of Jessie May in 2022, I have found out more about them, and I am blown away by their amazing work.”

Kim James-Coggins, Partnerships Executive for Jessie May, said: “Jessie May are so excited to be working with Kyren and Jamie. They are both very family-focused and very supportive of the incredible work that Jessie May do. Jessie May is the support for families with children facing life-limiting conditions. We provide palliative care and offer support through the bereavement journey. Join us in giving Jamie and Kyren a warm welcome! Together, we will continue making a profound difference in the lives of these extraordinary children and their families.”
