Zhao Tops Q School List

Zhao Jianbo topped the 2022 Q School Order of Merit, for players who did not earn a tour card over the three events.

China’s 18-year-old Zhao reached the final round of event two and event three, missing out on a tour place as he lost to Aaron Hill and James Cahill. But as the leading player on the Order of Merit, he’ll be first in line to ‘top up’ events during the 2022/23 season when places are available.

Should the number of entries in any World Snooker Tour event fall below the required number of entrants, subject to wildcards and commercial agreements, the highest ranked players from the Q School Order of Merit will be used to top up to the required number of entrants.

Ross Muir finished in second place, followed by Steven Hallworth, Sunny Akani and Daniel Wells. The list ranks players according to how many frames they won over the three events.
