World Snooker is pleased to announce that this season’s Challenge Tour play-off will take place at Pot Black in Clacton-on-Sea, Essex.
The event will be played on one day, Sunday 29 March 2020 ,with a best-of-seven frames knockout format.
Pot Black Clacton boasts excellent playing facilities and ample viewing space. Players will be able to practise at the club on the Saturday.
The highest ranked Challenge Tour player from this season’s ten events will claim the first Tour Card. The play-off will feature the next eight players in the rankings, with the winner receiving the second Tour Card. The draw for the play-off will be seeded with the player highest in the Challenge Tour rankings drawn against the eighth highest, and so on.
The two available World Snooker Tour Cards will be for the 2020-21 and 2021-22 seasons.
