Players will be battling for the new Alex Higgins Trophy
Fans are snapping up tickets for the new Northern Ireland Open, to take place at the Titanic Exhibition Centre in Belfast from November 14 to 20.
The tournament will be the second in the new Home Nations series, after the recent Coral English Open in Manchester.
With three weeks to go until the tournament starts, overall ticket sales for Northern Ireland are already at 81% of the total sold at the English Open.
Top stars like Ronnie O’Sullivan and home favourite Mark Allen will be competing for the £70,000 top prize in Belfast, with the champion also to receive the Alex Higgins Trophy. China’s Liang Wenbo triumphed in Manchester and victory in the last three Home Nations events would earn him a massive £1 million bonus.

The third event in the Home Nations series is the Scottish Open at the Emirates Arena in Glasgow from December 12 to 18. It will be the first full ranking event in Scotland since 2010.
Overall ticket sales currently stand at 42% of the English Open total so Scottish fans are strongly urged to BOOK SEATS NOW, support their home event and make sure there will be a sizzling atmosphere in Glasgow for the world’s leading cue kings.

The fourth and final event in the Home Nations series is the Welsh Open, from February 13 to 19 at the Motorpoint Arena in Cardiff. This world ranking event has been ever present on the calendar since 1992 and was won last year by Ronnie O’Sullivan, beating Neil Robertson in the final.
Again it’s 128 of the world’s leading players with multiple tables in the early stages. Ticket sales are currently 55% of the English Open total so fans should book quickly to avoid missing out.
