The first 11 days of snooker’s Cazoo World Championship have seen significant year-on-year increases in linear and online audiences on BBC.
Compared to 2022, the average audience is up by 12 per cent over the first 11 days, while online viewing is up by 10 per cent.
Viewing figures peaked at 1.4m on BBC Two on Sunday 23 April, while three other programmes have peaked at more than 1.2 million.
Snooker’s biggest tournament, staged at the Crucible Theatre in Sheffield, concludes on Monday May 1st.
