India’s Ispreet Singh Chadha sprinted to a quickfire 4-0 win over Pakistan’s Sharjeel Mahmood Asmat to make the last 32 of Asia-Oceania Q School in Bangkok.
Chadha fired in breaks of 80, 128, 69 and 88 on his way to sealing victory in under 70 minutes. Next up he faces compatriot Dhruv Jatan Patel tomorrow.
Ka Wai Cheung scored his second successive whitewash win, beating Iran’s Omid Veirani 4-0. He now faces Pakistan’s former professional Hamza Akbar in the last 32.
Recently relegated professional Lei Peifan, who lost to Thor Chuan Leong in the final round of event one, bowed out with a 4-3 defeat at the hands of Sattar Noor. Next up for Noor is another former tour player, Wang Yuchen.
