Gary Wilson came from 4-2 down to finish the first session of his Johnstone's Paint Tour Championship semi-final against Ronnie O'Sullivan level at 4-4.

O'Sullivan is aiming to win his sixth title this season, and has already set a new record for the most prize money earned in a single campaign. He is playing his 92nd ranking event semi-final and looking to reach his 64th final.

Wilson has also enjoyed an excellent season, winning two ranking titles, and having qualified for this event for the first time he has already knocked out Mark Selby and Zhang Anda. He is competing in his tenth ranking semi-final, having won five of the previous nine.

The first two frames went Wilson's way, before world number one O'Sullivan reeled off four in a row with top breaks of 102 and 110. Wilson finished the session strongly with runs of 83 and 84 to square the match. They resume at 7pm and first to ten frames goes through to Sunday's final to meet Mark Allen or Mark Williams.
