With the inaugural Saudi Arabia Snooker Masters underway and an incredible £500,000 top prize on the line, the brand new trophy is equally spectacular and has been revealed.

The 14 kilo trophy was comissioned to showcase the unique architecture of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The outside part of the structure is inspired by the Kingdom Centre, which is a 99 story skyscraper in the al-Olaya district of Riyadh. The ball at the top of the trophy is designed to emulate a design at the heart of the 67-metre-high Al Faisaliah Tower, also in the al-Olaya district.

The winner on Sunday will lift the beautiful trophy for the first time and will receive a miniature version which they will be able to keep.
