Ali Carter will be heading to Saudi Arabia for the new Riyadh Season World Masters of Snooker next week, having held on to the eighth and last qualifying position.

The two local wild cards, as well as the draw and match schedule, will be announced soon. The event will run from March 4-6 at Boulevard City in Riyadh.
Zhang Anda could have jumped into the top eight by winning the Johnstone's Paint Players Championship, but lost 10-8 in the final to Allen.
The event was announced last month by HE Advisor Turki Alalshikh, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the General Entertainment Authority (GEA), and it will be the first ever WST tournament in Saudi Arabia.
